In September you will commence project three, which will develop from a choice of starting points. Over Summer you need to look over the following powerpoint and undertake research for each theme.

Select ONE starting point and ONE artist within that starting point. Print off 4-5 good colour images and complete two A5 or A4 sized experiments/drawings for your chosen theme.

We will be entering a carefully selected number of artworks into the prestigious Royal Academy Young Artists’ Summer Show over the next few weeks.

If your work has been selected for entry by Art staff, you will be contacted regarding this before entry. Keep posted!

Over a double page in your sketchbook create visual research on artist, David Parfitt.
– A relevant background (best to copy (a section of) his work).
– Printed images of Parfitt’s work presented effectively.
– Information in own words – discuss his style, inspiration and techniques.
– Discuss your opinions and what you are doing to link to Parfitt’s style.

This homework is to be completed on the next two NEW pages in your book and is separate from your previous Parfitt copy.
