Art staff have been working hard on putting up new displays throughout the department in time for the new school year in September. We are proud to announce that our ‘Frame Wall’ has returned, displaying an eclectic and high quality range of Year 11, 12 and 13 work.

Thank you for all the support you have shown our talented A Level students in our recent Art Exhibition in the school. We had an amazing turn – out, and the overall quality of the work produced is a credit to the students. Here is a gallery of the exhibition;

We are excited to announce that an exhibition solely of a selection of our GCSE, AS and A Level work is to be exhibited at The Arthouse Gallery on Eastbank Street in Southport. This is an incredible opportunity to view the incredibly high standard work in a professional setting.

There is a preview evening on the 1st July at 6.30pm, which is to be attended by invitation only, and the exhibition is then open to the public from Wednesday 2nd July to Saturday 5th July. The opening times are 10am – 3pm on weekdays.

We would hope to see as many visitors over these few days as possible. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me in school,

On Friday 20th June, the Art Department at FHS is exhibiting our talented AS and A Level students work. If you are interested in viewing this work, there is a private view for students and parents between 4.00pm and 6.30pm on this date in rooms P1 and P2.

If you are a student in Years 7 to 11, and want to view the work during the school day, please come any time in the day on Monday 23rd June.
